A set of words that has meaning and is used for communication. It evolves through time and is never fully mastered.
A person that finds it very difficult to converse in a certain Language. He may probably have a zero list of vocabularies on this particular foreign language.
A term used to describe a language learner. If a student is proficient with his second language (number 2), this means he can effectively communicate using the said lingo.
A multilingual person can speak and understand at least three languages. He may have accidentally learned this (some nations have 3 languages) or caught it over due to long years of studies.
A person who can converse with two languages is called Bilingual. This means he can effectively communicate verbally with any of the two languages he knows.
This involves listening to the highest degree and potential. It involves observation, interpretation and evaluation. This is also sometimes called the "forgotten skill" because it is seldom taught.
A list of words. This may be active (number 5) or non-active. Each language learner is expected to have a wider set of vocabulary after every week of learning.
